We named it after the most patient of trees because it ages slowly: the leather at the toe darkens as it gets scuffed, and the rubber sole is slow to wear down. The opening is wide, which makes things easier while your child learns to put their own foot in.

Care

Brush off dust with a soft, dry brush; dab marks away with a slightly damp cloth.
If they get wet, stuff them with paper and let them dry at room temperature, away from radiators and direct sun.
Once a month, apply a thin coat of a colourless, natural leather cream.
Do not machine wash. Over time the leather darkens and carries the imprint of your child’s steps; this is natural.
