How to play
- The players sit in a circle.
- The caller walks round chanting “Yağ satarım, bal satarım, ustam ölmüş, ben satarım…” (I sell butter, I sell honey, my master has died, so I sell…) and drops the handkerchief behind someone.
- Whoever notices the handkerchief jumps up and chases the caller; if the caller sits down in the empty place, that player becomes the new caller.
Safety
Always play these games with an adult watching, in a way that suits your child’s age and the surface underfoot. Keep games with small pieces (marbles, five stones, mangala) away from children under 3.
