How to play
- Hold hands in a circle and walk round.
- Sing “Kutu kutu pense, elmayı yerse, arkadaşımız … arkasına dönsün” (roughly: “…whoever eats the apple, let our friend … turn around”), putting a child’s name in the gap.
- The child who is named turns round and carries on in the circle facing outwards; the game goes on until everyone has turned.
Safety
Always play these games with an adult watching, in a way that suits your child’s age and the surface underfoot. Keep games with small pieces (marbles, five stones, mangala) away from children under 3.
